The morning of Monday, February 17, is expected to have favorable weather conditions for the formation of extensive areas of fog and mist in Cuba, as reported on Facebook by meteorologist Ariel Maturell Salina.
The projections indicate that visibility on the road could be significantly reduced between 4:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m., affecting drivers and other road users.

The expert shared images generated by the German ICON model, highlighting the areas with the highest incidence of fog, represented in white and yellow.
These weather conditions may impact various provinces of the country, so it is advisable to take additional precautions during the early hours of the day.
The journalist Lázaro Manuel Alonso also emphasized the importance of caution while driving, especially on highways and in low visibility areas. "Attention especially to drivers and other road users. Be cautious this Monday with the fog," he expressed through his social media.
Experts advise that, in case of being in an area with dense fog, drivers should reduce speed, use low beams or fog lights, and maintain a safe distance from other vehicles.
The combination of humidity and cool temperatures during the early morning favors this type of phenomenon, which can persist until sunrise in some areas of the island.
The population is urged to stay alert to weather reports and follow road safety recommendations to prevent accidents.
