The Air Operations of the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) transported 177 Venezuelan migrants this Thursday from Guantánamo Bay to Honduras, where they will make a stop before boarding a second flight to their home country.

Through this operation, the Venezuelan government will receive migrants for their return to Venezuela, confirmed the U.S. entity.

The ICE explained through its social media channels that the migrants will be handed over to the Venezuelan government in Honduras, which will take care of returning them to their country of origin.
