The Cuban opposition figure Luis Enrique Ferrer García, brother of former political prisoner José Daniel Ferrer, suffered a traffic accident while driving his truck in the United States.

Luis Enrique shared a video on his Facebook wall in which he is seen in a hospital bed with his neck immobilized.

The injured individual wanted to reassure family and friends after the dramatic accident in which their vehicle ended up overturned on the road.

"I'm fine. Just a few bumps on my knee and body, but nothing serious. A snowplow truck came right in front of my path, and there wasn't enough time to stop," he stated.
