Sandro Castro: "I believed we were equality, but we are inequality."

Fidel Castro's grandson displays his lavish lifestyle and mocks the poverty in Cuba, showcasing a bottle of Cristal beer that he had been "looking for a while."

Sandro Castro, the grandson of the Cuban dictator Fidel Castro, shared a video in which he clearly mocks the criticism he has received in recent months for his life of luxury and ostentation while many of his fellow countrymen live in poverty.

The young man shared a recording with a friend named David, in which both of them, seemingly drunk or high, are heard talking nonsense and incoherent things.

"I believed we were equal, but we are inequality, David," he said, mocking a Cuban who days earlier recalled the false class equality in Cuba that Fidel Castro invented in his time.

"And I'm going to tell you something clear, in perfection lies imperfection, David, because he who wants to live the perfect life is a slave to vanity and in the end, he is not even happy himself," he added.

At another point in the video, Sandro shows a bottle of Cristal beer and claims that he had been searching for it for a while. To which his friend replies that he found ketchup.

"But beware of my friend the tarantula, as she has a lot of venom," concludes the dictator's grandson.

This week, Sandro joined the viral trend of the song Not Like Us by Kendrick Lamar in a very particular way: by wasting Cristal beer at the entrance of his bar Efe in El Vedado. This act demonstrates egotism and insensitivity, given that Cristal, despite being a national alcoholic beverage, is absent from Cuban markets, making it a luxury.

In the video, Sandro appears fully dressed in Nike clothing: sweatshirt, pants, and shoes. As he dances, he walks towards the camera with beers in hand, until he starts shaking them and foam spills out.

Enjoy, ball, so the world can see the class equality your grandfather invented, was one of the comments on the Instagram post.

The Efe bar is one of the places where he tends to unleash his arrogance and foolishness. It was there that he celebrated his birthday last December 5th, with an exclusive party that stirred up significant controversy.

Another video that sparked controversy on social media was his eccentric greeting for Valentine's Day on February 14th.

With a high degree of incoherence, he appeared before the camera holding two roses wrapped in plastic, one red and the other yellow, crossing them over his chest as he addressed a message to his followers.

A few weeks earlier, in a blatant display of insensitivity and disregard for national sorrow, he was seen partying on the very day Cuba was observing an Official Mourning in honor of 13 military personnel who died in Holguín.
