Doctor updates the condition of the baby who fell from the fourth floor in Sancti Spíritus: "It's a miracle."

The baby surprises doctors with her recovery, showing no fractures or hemorrhages and demonstrating remarkable resilience in the face of severe trauma.

The 11-month-old baby who was thrown from a fourth-floor window in Jatibonico, Sancti Spíritus, is in good health and shows no apparent injuries, according to reports from the José Martí Pérez Provincial Pediatric Hospital.

Doctor Frank Felipe Martín, head of the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at the center, described the girl's recovery as "practically a miracle," highlighting the remarkable resilience that some children exhibit in the face of severe trauma

According to Radio Sancti Spíritus, after receiving the alert last Friday, an ambulance with a pediatric intensive care specialist was dispatched to the scene. Upon arrival, they found the girl stable, with no obvious signs of bleeding or fractures.

At the hospital, they conducted comprehensive radiological studies, ultrasound, and computed tomography; all results were negative, except for a small scratch on her neck. Nevertheless, the doctors decided to keep her under observation in the ICU.

The next day, they repeated the ultrasound and other tests. "We were able to confirm that the little girl was healthy," stated Dr. Martín, who specified that "it's practically a miracle that an 11-month-old infant, after falling from a fourth floor, suffered no injuries whatsoever."

The doctor did not deny that the baby, named Nathaly, had been thrown from such a great height. He only emphasized the unusual resilience of young children when facing significant trauma.

"It is often said that a child is not a small adult, and while they can endure certain traumas, the fact that this baby did not sustain serious injuries after such a dramatic fall is something we have truly never encountered in our experience," he concluded.
