The President of the United States, Donald Trump, publicly expressed his support for the CEO of Tesla, Elon Musk, urging citizens to purchase vehicles from the brand to counter the recent challenges the company is facing.
Through his social network, Truth Social, Trump praised the most controversial member of his cabinet, responsible for the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), thanking him for "risking it all" for the benefit of the nation.

He also described the attempts by the "radical left" to boycott Tesla as "illegal and collusive" and announced his intention to buy a Tesla as a show of trust and support for the billionaire turned "public servant."
This statement comes in a context where Tesla has experienced a significant drop in its stock value, registering a 45% decrease so far this year.
Analysts attribute this decline to Musk's association with far-right policies and his involvement in the Trump administration, factors that have impacted the brand's perception among progressive consumers and key markets such as California, Europe, and China.
The relationship between Trump and Musk has garnered attention in recent months. In February, it was reported that Musk compensated Trump with 10 million dollars to settle a legal dispute related to the ban that the former president faced on the platform X (formerly Twitter) in 2021. Additionally, Musk has openly expressed his admiration for Trump, even publicly declaring his "love" for him.
The alliance between the two magnates has generated divided opinions. While some of Trump's supporters endorse the initiative to support Tesla, other sectors criticize the politicization of the brand and question the influence of political affiliations on consumer decisions.
Musk, for his part, thanked Trump for his support and reiterated his commitment to innovation and technological progress, aiming to maintain the trust of investors and consumers amid the financial turbulence the company is experiencing.
