A traffic accident that occurred on the evening of this Sunday in the coastal area of the Ciudamar neighborhood in Santiago de Cuba left a young man seriously injured.
The accident occurred on one of the sharp curves in the area, between the Níspero Fishing Base and the Ciudamar Dock. Eyewitnesses reported that the collision involved a car and a motorbike.

Hours later, neighbors and acquaintances identified the young man as Ismael Núñez, known in the community as "Bolo."
The young man lives on San Carlos Street, between Carlos Fuboi and Callejón Santiago, in the Tivolí neighborhood, according to residents of the area.
It was also learned that the motorcycle he was riding was not his own, but borrowed, and that he was heading to the coastal area to run an errand when the accident occurred.
"The motorcycle did not belong to him; it was borrowed, and he went to that area to run an errand. He's in very critical condition," confirmed people close to him.
At this time, Ismael Núñez is in critical condition and receiving specialized care in an intensive care unit, due to severe head injuries sustained in the impact.
