Through his Instagram stories, the artist shared an image of a Generac power generator, stating that he has had to spend nearly 100 liters of gasoline in just 48 hours to keep the electricity supply going in his home. "If it weren't for it, I don't know what I would do," he commented with a tone of resignation.

In another post, Yomil showed his laptop on while editing his own videos, claiming that he has taken advantage of the "boredom from the blackouts" to learn how to edit content for his new channel. His testimony highlights the frustration experienced by thousands of Cubans, who, in addition to being without electricity, face difficulties accessing drinking water, preserving food, and maintaining communications.
