Three individuals have been arrested on charges of using Molotov cocktails to set fire to Tesla cars in the U.S.

Three individuals have been detained in the U.S. for setting fire to Tesla properties with Molotov cocktails and face up to 20 years in prison. Prosecutor Pamela Bondi warns about domestic terrorism against Tesla.

Three individuals were arrested in the United States for "violent destruction" of Tesla properties and are facing sentences ranging from five to twenty years in prison, according to an official statement from Attorney General Pamela Bondi.

The U.S. official emphasized this Thursday that the three individuals used Molotov cocktails to set fire to Tesla cars and charging stations in three cities.

One of the accused, armed with an AR-15 rifle, was arrested for throwing approximately eight molotov cocktails at a Tesla dealership located in Salem, Oregon.

Another was intercepted in Loveland (Colorado) after attempting to set Teslas on fire with the same type of explosive. The accused was later found in possession of materials used to manufacture other incendiary devices.

In Charleston, South Carolina, a third suspect wrote "obscene messages" against President Trump around the Tesla charging stations before setting them on fire with a homemade incendiary device.

Bondi, following the same rhetoric as Trump, who labeled those responsible for the acts of vandalism against Tesla vehicles as "terrorists" and promised harsh penalties for anyone found guilty, warned that the Department of Justice would penalize those who join "this wave of domestic terrorism against Tesla properties."

"The days of committing crimes without consequences are over," emphasized the Attorney General.

In Florida, law enforcement has issued stern warnings against potential "Tesla terrorists," accusing them of being "deranged leftists."

Lee County Sheriff, Carmine Marceno, said: "Destroying property for criminal or political reasons will not be tolerated in the county."

Tesla in the spotlight

The company Tesla, owned by Elon Musk, has been the target of criticism and attacks from various sectors in recent months.

Images of burned Tesla vehicles have raised concerns within the business and political communities. The President of the United States, Donald Trump, labeled the perpetrators of the vandalism as "terrorists" and stated that those involved could face up to 20 years in prison.

Musk has faced criticism and calls to boycott the company due to his political positions and public statements. Previously, Trump had urged citizens to purchase vehicles from the brand to counter the recent challenges faced by the company.

Through his social network, Truth Social, Trump praised the most controversial member of his cabinet, responsible for the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), thanking him for "risking it all" for the benefit of the nation.

He also described the attempts to boycott Tesla by the "radical left" as "illegal and collusive" and then announced his intention to buy a Tesla as a show of confidence and support for the billionaire turned "public servant."

The company of magnate Musk has experienced a significant drop in its stock value, recording a decrease of 45% so far this year.
