A Cuban family turned to social media this Tuesday to request help in the search for a missing elderly woman who has been missing for over a week in the Marianao municipality of Havana.
The woman’s nephew, identified as Yomy Cuevas, posted a message on Facebook with a photo of his aunt and an urgent call for public assistance. He explained that the lady left her house at night, dressed in a house coat, and has not returned. Since then, there has been no news of her whereabouts.

“Hospitals, terminals... have already been checked, and still nothing. It's not like her to disappear like this,” wrote the family member, clearly concerned.
