"The Corvette was seized by the Florida Highway Patrol, in conjunction with the DEA Task Force. It was not purchased with state funds," added the agency.

Although it will not be used for regular patrols, the vehicle will serve as a symbol of the law's power over organized crime, transforming what was once an illicit luxury into a public service tool.

The vehicle is equipped with blue police lights, the FHP logo on the sides, and the inscription "State Trooper" on the back.

Inside, it includes a standard MDT (Mobile Data Terminal), which allows agents to access police databases, issue fines, and receive dispatch updates. It also features a portable radio and controls for the emergency lighting and siren system.

Mechanically, it features a 6.2-liter V8 engine, over 490 horsepower, rear-wheel drive, and an aerodynamic design that makes it one of the most powerful sports cars in its class.
