Teresa Padrón, former manager of El Taiger, reported on social media this Thursday that the memorial dedicated to the late reggaeton artist in Miami has been completely destroyed. The flowers and photographs of the artist have disappeared, as well as the LBMA letters that adorned the site.
Padrón went to the location, near the Jackson Memorial Hospital, where El Taiger was left abandoned, still alive after receiving a gunshot to the head, and showed in a video how the memorial was desecrated.
People working near the site sent them photos of the damage on Wednesday and confirmed that this is how it looked that day, leading them to conclude that it was destroyed the previous Tuesday.
“I don’t care if they attack me, if they go against me, if they do whatever they want, if they talk about me, I don’t care, because I know that up there there is a God and I know that sooner or later the truth will come to light, but one thing is to have some kind of hatred against me and another very different thing is to come here to touch this that is sacred, that belongs to Jose, that whoever comes here feels the vibe and knows that he was left here,” Teresa said in the video.
This place is extremely sacred; I believe it is a great disrespect from the person who created it or commissioned it (...) I need them to put an end to the controversies, the issues, to stop tarnishing Jose's name. Let's all get along, let's take care of Jose, look out for his family, for his children, because this is already a great disrespect,” he added.
In images shared by influencer Un Martí To Durako, a woman can even be seen exercising right where the memorial was located.
In recent weeks, a significant controversy has erupted surrounding Teresa due to her comments regarding the lawsuit against Charly & Johyron for using El Taiger's image with artificial intelligence. Additionally, La China Lay, the singer's ex-partner, lashed out at her, demanding that she let El Taiger rest in peace.
