Three women caught stealing using an unusual method in a store in Havana

Three women were caught stealing in a store in Havana using a "human curtain" to hide the products. The store released the video and is asking for help to identify them.

The Havana store Reynashop publicly denounced three women through social media who were captured by security cameras stealing merchandise using an unusual method.

In the video, shared on Facebook with the message "Thieves in the stores of Havana," it shows how the individuals involved enter and exit the establishment several times, pretending to wait for someone or that they have forgotten something.

Meanwhile, they take the opportunity to extract hidden products from under their dresses.

The video also shows how the women coordinate with each other, forming a kind of "human curtain" that allows one of them to hide clothing under her clothes without being detected.

"Help us share everywhere to see if someone recognizes them," the store emphasized in its post.

The case has generated reactions from other affected businesses. In the comments section, the Facebook profile Ruano Surl, identified as a Cuban private sector company dedicated to the production and wholesale marketing of food, claimed that the same women had stolen from their market days earlier.

"These ladies are the same ones who stole from our market. There are three of them, and they are with a man in a red car who picks them up when they leave. They stole six bottles of whiskey," they reported.

The message was accompanied by the capture of a security video showing the suspects in action.

He also added, "Those same items amount to over 400 dollars for us, and they left the store three times. We need to publish and publish so they can't steal anymore."

Another internet user, named Isa Mier, pointed out: "But report it, I work in a store, and we had an incident with another gang of thieves. We managed to catch one, and when we called the police, he had so many complaints against him that he went straight to prison."

Ivis Rosales emphasized: "I believe those are the same ones who appear in a video from a food market. They were hiding what they were taking under their dresses."

Thefts in stores in Cuba are becoming more common as the economic crisis deepens. In March, a couple was captured by security cameras while stealing a wallet in a café in Havana.

The incident was reported in the Facebook group "La Puntilla, tienda en MLC" by the user Mayito Pérez, who shared details of the event along with recordings obtained from the establishment.

"This couple stole a purse from a café in Havana in the morning. In the videos recorded by the venue's surveillance cameras from different angles, it is visible how the woman encourages her partner to commit the act," Pérez reported in the post.

In March as well, a video featuring a man stealing in a store in Havana went viral on social media, sparking outrage among users.

The images captured by a security camera show a man wearing a beige shirt and sunglasses hanging around his neck inside a store.

A Cuban was caught on surveillance camera while stealing from a business located in El Vedado, according to a report from a user in the Facebook group Revolico Habana.
