Three Cuban nationals with criminal records were arrested during a massive raid at an illegal nightclub in Colorado Springs, United States, last weekend.
The operation, carried out by more than 300 agents from 13 federal, state, and local agencies, resulted in the arrest of 114 undocumented immigrants.
According to exclusive information obtained by The Daily Signal, the detained Cubans are:
Idianay Hernández Jorrín, a 26-year-old Cuban, who has pending charges for theft ranging from $100,000 to $1,000,000; in addition to "assault" for drugging a victim.
According to reports, the Denver Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO, for its acronym in English) issued a notice to appear and will remain in detention while awaiting her immigration proceedings.
The other Cuban is Alexander Bordado Valdés, 45 years old, and according to the information provided, he is part of "a Cuban group that engages in credit card theft, fuel theft, and illegal marijuana cultivation in Colorado," authorities noted.
Lastly, there is Armando Martínez Moreno, aged 34. Martínez was granted parole in the United States in 2022 and received a summons to appear, but he never showed up at an office of the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). According to ERO Denver, he has a criminal record that includes an active case for theft, harassment, and shoplifting.
After the operation that took place in the early morning of last Sunday, the Attorney General of the United States, Pam Bondi, stated on her official X account (formerly Twitter) that the nightclub was frequented by alleged members of criminal organizations such as TDA and the MS-13 gang.
"Cocaine, methamphetamine, and pink cocaine were seized. Two individuals with outstanding arrest warrants were also apprehended," published Bondi.
Bondi linked the operation to the immigration security policy promoted by President Donald Trump, emphasizing that such actions reflect the “tangible results” of the government during its first 100 days. “@POTUS Trump's directive to make America safe again is delivering results,” he added.
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has taken custody of the 114 detained immigrants, who are now facing deportation proceedings, as well as possible criminal charges if their involvement in criminal activities is confirmed.
