This tragic event occurs just a few weeks after a Cuban teenager just 14 years old, originally from Sagua la Grande, Villa Clara, passed away in a tragic traffic accident in the city of Homestead, in Miami-Dade County, an incident that shocked the Cuban community in the country.
The minor had emigrated to the United States just nine months ago, according to a relative in a message sent to CiberCuba.
Also, the Cuban identified as Alexei Primelles Álvarez tragically passed away on his first day of work in Phoenix, Arizona, on April 27th.
Alexei, who had only been in the United States for eight months, had emigrated in search of a better future, like so many Cubans who leave the island due to precarious economic conditions, lack of job opportunities, and an uncertain social and political landscape.
