The President of the United States, Donald Trump, stated this Sunday that the country has been “invaded” by 21 million illegal immigrants, whom he accused of including “killers and high-level criminals” among their ranks.
In a post on his Truth Social network, the president warned that, if they are not allowed to deport them, the United States will quickly become “a third-world nation plagued by crime, that will never know greatness again.”

"The radicalized and incompetent judicial system," according to Trump, would be the main obstacle to implementing his immigration policy.
"Our lawyers must declare this FACT before the Supreme Court of the United States and before all other courts," he wrote in capital letters, emphasizing the defiant tone of the message.
In addition to the immigration issue, the president reiterated that he won the election, claiming to have triumphed "in all seven key states," with "312 Electoral College votes," "2,750 districts compared to 525," and "easily the popular vote."
"I must be authorized to do the work for which I was elected. If not, we will no longer have a country," Trump concluded, reinforcing his campaign slogan: "MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN."
During the first 100 days of his second term, Trump intensified his immigration offensive with the deportation of 65,682 undocumented immigrants, according to figures released by the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
According to ICE, of the more than 66,000 arrests made, 75% were immigrants with criminal records, including 2,288 alleged gang members from organizations such as Tren de Aragua, MS-13, and Barrio 18, as well as 1,329 individuals accused or convicted of sexual offenses and 498 for homicide.
In this regard, Trump signed a new executive order this Friday that will allow undocumented migrants to leave the country voluntarily, even if they have expired or incomplete travel documents, as part of his immigration plan called “Homecoming Project”.
The measure allows the Department of State and the Department of Homeland Security to facilitate the voluntary departure of migrants without requiring valid documentation, enabling a digital system and concierge service that will allow them to book free flights abroad directly from the airports.
"Illegal foreign nationals will be able to leave the country with or without the appropriate travel documents," states the official text.
On the other hand, the administration of former President Donald Trump filed an emergency appeal to the Supreme Court of the United States on Thursday in an effort to overturn a court ruling that prevents the early cancellation of the humanitarian parole program, which grants temporary legal status to over 500,000 migrants from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Venezuela.
The program, established during the administration of President Joe Biden, allowed individuals from these countries to enter the U.S. by air with financial backing and to reside legally for two years with work authorization; however, it was one of the first programs reversed by Trump upon taking office.
In March, Trump, urged the Supreme Court to limit the ability of federal judges to issue nationwide injunctions, arguing that these have repeatedly obstructed his policies.
"Illegal national court orders from radical left judges could lead to the destruction of our country. These people are lunatics who don't care, not even a little, about the consequences of their decisions and rulings, which are very dangerous and incorrect!" Trump wrote on his social media platform, Truth Social.
