Cubana shares three key tips for those planning to emigrate to Dubai

Are you considering emigrating to the United Arab Emirates? A Cuban influencer shares tips for traveling to Dubai.

The Cuban content creator known on Instagram as @el_sitio_de_rose recently shared a video with three essential recommendations for those considering emigrating to Dubai, one of the most cosmopolitan and challenging cities in the Persian Gulf.

In her video, the influencer clearly warns about three crucial aspects that, based on her personal experience, are often ignored or downplayed when people plan to emigrate to the United Arab Emirates.

1. Don't come if you don't know English

Although it is not necessary to speak it perfectly, the young woman emphasizes that having a basic understanding of the language is essential for integration, job searching, and being able to navigate independently.

"There are many people who, just to sell you a travel package, will tell you that it's easy to find work even with minimal knowledge. The truth is that here, without knowing English, the opportunities are very limited," he asserted.

2. Avoid emigrating in summer

"From May until October, there is infernal heat in Dubai," warned the influencer, who explained that the high temperatures, exceeding 50 degrees Celsius, lead to the closure of parks, tourist attractions, and outdoor businesses.

The weather directly impacts the chances of finding employment during those months. That's why it is recommended to plan migration between October and April, when the temperatures are more favorable and there is more job activity.

3. Do not travel with children

The cost of living is very high, especially in areas like housing, education, and healthcare. The Cuban advises against emigrating with children at an early stage.

"Here, one cannot afford the luxury of not working and staying home to care for a child or hiring a nanny, because that costs the same as a monthly salary," he explained. He also emphasized that many times one has to share rent with strangers, which makes it unfeasible to provide a suitable environment for children.

At the end of the video, the young woman nuanced her advice by reminding that each situation is different, but that her recommendations are based on her experience of over two years living in Dubai and the stories of other compatriots who have taken the same path.
