Alejandro Cuervo and his family leave Cuba: "We say goodbye to ETECSA hoping that it reflects."

Alejandro Cuervo criticizes ETECSA for the high cost of mobile data as he leaves Cuba with his family. The actor urges the company to listen to its users in order to improve the service.

Cuban actor Alejandro Cuervo has embarked on a new journey outside the island with his wife and two children and, as is customary, he shared it with his followers on social media. From inside the airplane, the artist published an emotional family image accompanied by a message that did not go unnoticed.

“The Cuervo family says goodbye to everyone, and not forever, of course, we’ll see each other soon”, he wrote on his Instagram account. But the message didn’t stop there: Cuervo took the opportunity to deliver a direct criticism of the state telecommunications company ETECSA, hoping that his words will be heard.

We bid farewell to ETECSA hoping it reflects while listening to all its users, including us, especially considering the grandparents of my children, as well as all the elderly who enjoy their favorite networks, and with this significant increase in rates, it will be nearly impossible.

The actor lamented the high cost of mobile data services in Cuba, a reality that impacts thousands of families who use technology as their primary means to stay in touch with their loved ones. “Imagine ETECSA, and I speak from respect as I was taught, with UNE going through its worst moment, phones without battery and also without data is not healthy for anyone,” he added.

Cuervo concluded his message by reiterating his call: "I hope you listen, and I repeat (out of respect), to everyone."

The images accompanying the post show the smiling family on the plane holding their Cuban passports and boarding passes, apparently headed to Madrid, Spain.

Although he has not clarified whether this is a permanent departure, the actor has traveled outside the country several times, but this is the first time he is doing so with his family.
