The Cuban content creator known as Alex Comediante shared a funny video on his social media about his first experiences in Uruguay, a country he has just arrived in after a long journey from Cuba.

"In the end, I went out with a bang," he wrote on his Instagram account, where he documents his adjustment to a new life away from the Island.

Since his arrival, Alex has shown happiness with things that are everyday for many, but were unthinkable in his previous context.

In one of the most talked-about moments of the video, the young man is "amazed" to see an abundance of oranges and mandarins, jokingly saying that they look like "plastic fruits."

She also asks ironically, "What time does the electricity go out?" reflecting the contrast with the instability of the electrical service in Cuba.

In another passage, his emotion is palpable when his mother tells him she is going to make him an omelet with four eggs, something that nearly brings him to tears.

Alex also reacted upon learning about mobile phone rates in Uruguay, where 60 gigabytes can be had for 190 pesos. "No, that's too many gigabytes! Bring me my 360 pesos for 6 gigabytes a month from Cuba," he exclaimed, referring to the famous price hike by ETECSA on the Island.

One of the most symbolic moments comes when he tries for the first time the famous "Coca-Cola of forgetfulness," a popular joke among Cuban emigrants that refers to the beginning of a new life away from the country.

After taking a sip, however, Alex assures that he will not forget his friends from the neighborhood: "I will never forget my buddies, man, from the corner."

To wrap it up with humor, he introduces his supposed "Uruguayan girlfriend" while recording himself in a joking tone: "How tough I am."

Alex became known on social media for his comedic videos filmed in Cuba, where he humorously described everyday situations in life on the Island.

His departure from the country marked the beginning of a journey that he has documented himself: first, he flew to Guyana, then crossed into Brazil, and finally managed to reach Uruguay, where his mother and sister were waiting for him. He hadn't seen his sister in more than seven years.

"Welcome to Uruguay, things have heated up here. A journey full of laughter and challenging moments, but we made it," he said in another recent video, celebrating the family reunion and the start of a new chapter.
