A 66-year-old man was arrested in Miami for allegedly stabbing another individual in broad daylight, during an incident that took place at a bus stop in an area frequented by Latino residents, including Cubans.
The violent incident occurred around 4:15 p.m. on June 6, near the Juan Pablo Duarte Park, at the intersection of 1776 NW and 28th Street, reported Local 10 News.
The victim, whose identity and current condition have not been disclosed, was found bleeding profusely from a wound approximately six inches long in the right side of the back, as detailed by Miami police.
While the officers provided assistance, several witnesses identified the suspected aggressor, known as Humberto Gallo, a 66-year-old man who was attempting to leave the scene.
Thanks to the swift cooperation of passersby, the police were able to locate and apprehend the suspect nearby, in the area of Northwest 17th Avenue and 29th Street.
