Without a doubt, a video that has been highly anticipated by her followers on social media, the digital creator Idelis García finally showed how she grows strawberries in her garden in Cuba.

The first time she showcased a smoothie with strawberries from her garden, it went viral on social media and she was met with a flood of criticism, but the young woman decided it was high time to demonstrate that the strawberries are not a figment of her imagination, and she has indeed been able to cultivate them in Cuba, although it has required significant effort.

“Now it's really big, but there was a time when it was just a little thing,” she says while showing the plant that even has some green strawberries.

Everything began when a neighbor gave her three strawberries and then a little shoot from the plant she had cultivated herself. At that moment, Idelis thought, like many Cubans, that it was a fruit that does not grow on the island, but she planted it and started to take care of it.

“When it started producing strawberries, I couldn't believe it”, adds Idelis as she shares with her followers the care she provides to the plant.

"Apart from the love I give him, I don't use regular water from the tap; I use water from the air conditioner, from the split unit. I give him that water in the morning when I get up and at night before I go to bed (...) They are super difficult to plant and maintain, especially with all this heat," he assures.

It seems that Idelis lives in a place where electricity is rarely lost or has resources to cope with outages and use her split system and the cold water from it to maintain her strawberry plants.
