According to a report on the mentioned social media platform, since Friday a task force has been established that includes teachers, delegates, local Communist Party officials, and agents on motorcycles, who have been instructed to "be ready to act" in response to the supposed arrival of the United States ambassador at his home, information that was deemed false and fabricated.

The professor emphasized that she decides who visits her home, recalling that in the past she has received diplomats from European countries, Latin American union leaders, and foreign journalists, in exercising her right to free communication and dialogue.

López also reported acts of direct surveillance, such as the case of Inés Mercedes Díaz Izquierdo, an official from the Municipal Party Directorate, who was caught filming her home.

The professor's daughter, Lilian, confronted the woman, who, visibly nervous, denied recording as she fled the scene. López warned the regime that he will not allow an act of repudiation in front of his house, making it clear that he will defend himself against any aggression or provocation.

The activist criticized the disproportion of resources used in operations like the one affecting her community, while the security forces fail to ensure control over their own facilities.

Alina Bárbara López concluded her statement with a strong message: “They will not escape the scandal of that death by fabricating an act of repudiation in my neighborhood. I will not allow it. Repressors.” She directly held the state's repressive bodies responsible for the growing repression and violation of human rights on the island.
