"We regret the passing of Rafael Guerra, Guerrita, a renowned statistician who contributed his knowledge to Cuban television baseball broadcasts for over 40 years. Our condolences to family, friends, and colleagues," reads the tweet.
The sports journalist Michel Contreras stated that Guerrita was “for many the statistician of baseball.”
"For me, a great Barcelona fan and a good person. God keep you, brother. Every goal of the upcoming season will be for you," he added.
The body of the statistician and baseball scorer will be laid to rest at the funeral home on Calzada and K, De la Uz specified.
