The Cuban singer Yulién Oviedo sparked controversy on social media once again by claiming to be “the best artist that Cuba has produced musically,” in response to the criticism received following the release of “LBMA,” the second single by Ana Paloma, daughter of the late reggaeton artist El Taiger.

The song, performed by the girl alongside Yulién, has sparked divided reactions among social media users, with some questioning her presence. However, the artist did not remain silent and responded emphatically.

“Respecting everyone's opinion, but only a genius sees what the critic does not from their point of view. Ana Paloma, I told you that you have the best mentor in Cuba and your dad would have been very proud to see all your performance in music, because you are in the hands of the best. And if they are commenting negatively in the face of the positive, do not feel bad at all, it's just that we are doing extremely well,” Oviedo wrote on his social media.

The musician concluded his message by reaffirming his artistic self-esteem: “I reiterate, I respect everyone’s opinion, but here it is talent that speaks, not conscience. Att: The best artist Cuba has ever produced musically speaking.”

Yulién accompanied his words with images from his childhood, in which he appears playing the drums alongside his father, the renowned Cuban musician Calixto Oviedo, as he wanted to remember his roots and musical journey, since he was called "the child prodigy" from a young age.

Meanwhile, Ana Paloma continues to win over the audience and her father's fans, who see her as the successor to El Taiger.
