"We changed the menu: spaghetti with hot dogs and side dishes. It's a quick meal that satisfies," added the parish priest.

In his post, the priest expressed special gratitude "to God and to the donors for this opportunity to serve."

In addition, he accompanied the publication with a gallery of images showcasing children, elderly people, and families as the beneficiaries of these charitable actions.

For months, Alonso has been systematically providing lunch to the most needy.

Recently, amidst a persistent water shortage, where some areas go more than 20 days without service, and power outages last for endless hours, the parish priest managed to organize a solidarity initiative that offered a community lunch for 310 people in vulnerable situations.

The event took place at the San Pedro Apóstol Organized Mission, located in the Flores neighborhood, and was made possible through the collaborative efforts of the community and the support of donors, Alonso reported on Facebook.

Despite the extreme difficulties imposed by the current crisis on the Island, a complete menu was guaranteed that included yellow rice, vegetables, boiled root vegetables, and sausage, as shown by Colomar himself in images shared on social media.

"Today, 310 people benefited from the community lunch for those in need," wrote the priest.

"Thanks to God and the donors for this opportunity to serve. God bless you abundantly," he noted.
