The former boxer Lino Tomasen, known as "The Cuban Iron Man", has just left the country for a destination he has not yet revealed.
In a video uploaded to her Facebook wall, she is seen at the Havana airport saying goodbye.
"I will return, and with more strength to help," he expressed.
According to a comment he made, he lost all his contacts.

"I'm in another world, my people, without a sense of time; I don't even know what day of the week it is. I only know that I will return, stronger than ever. I loved you, I love you, and I will love you," he emphasized.
Dozens of people wished him good luck in his new life project and recalled the work he did in Cuba, financially helping those in need.
"Keep doing good no matter to whom, may God bless you wherever you go," said a woman from Havana.
"Iron Man, don't go away, you are greatly missed by the poor who are in our Cuba," a young woman pleaded.
"You deserve it, now it's your turn to fight for yourself and your loved ones; you've done enough for others," expressed another woman.
However, other internet users claimed that he paid for his trip with the money he has allegedly raised for assistance.
"He doesn't give anything; he gives what others tell him to give, and by the way, he takes his cut. That's his business; he keeps 80 and gives 20," detailed a user.
"I'm glad to hear that the donation money has been useful to you," a fruit vendor scoffed.
"This guy is shameless; he hides behind the word of God to ask for help for those in need, and he takes 50 or 60%—and maybe more—for himself," asserted a resident in Florida
Tomasen is one of the Cuban activists who carry out selfless work to help those in need and vulnerable individuals amidst the economic and social crisis that Cuba is experiencing.
Help movements among Cubans are activated on social media, where many people share their issues and activists mobilize to assist, supported by donations from both residents abroad and those on the Island.
A resident in Miami revealed that Lino is traveling to California to see his father, whom he hasn't seen in person for years.
