“Please, anyone who has seen him or has information can call the numbers 5474 5928 or 5902 5961. We appreciate any help,” they wrote on social media.

The disappearance has caused concern among the residents of the area, who have spontaneously come together to assist in the search for Pompi, whose medical condition makes him particularly vulnerable.

They warn that individuals with Alzheimer’s can easily become disoriented, even in familiar places, and lose track of time, which increases risks as hours pass without contact.

Family members hope that efforts for searching in hospitals, terminals, police stations, and other public areas will be intensified.

They also activated the phone numbers 5474 5928 and 5902 5961 for anyone with information that could lead to the whereabouts of the elderly man.
