A young Cuban entrepreneur is fighting to keep her business open after six months without the necessary support, as revealed in a video shared by Cuban influencer Dairon Cano.

“Look at how the business is doing, sir, this princess opened it six months ago (…) hardly anyone is coming in, we’re not getting any support, especially not from us Cubans,” Cano commented in the recording, where he showed the premises and spoke with its owner.

The owner of the pizzeria, called De' Cuba Pizzería, stated that she has considered closing its doors: “We opened six months ago... I’m practically at the point of closing; I wanted to close it, but well, let’s see.”

A loyal customer and many losses

In the dialogue, the influencer remarked, “He lives close by, and he’s the only one who always supports you here,” referring to a neighbor who visits the business every day to buy and help. “Yes, he’s the only man who comes every afternoon to have a coffee, a sweet treat, or to eat something just to show support,” the young woman confirmed.

In the establishment, pizzas, juices, smoothies, cold guarapo, lasagna, stuffed tostones, and artisanal croquettes are prepared, all made in-house and daily, as the entrepreneur explained: “Practically everything is made by us here, it’s very fresh at the moment of the day, we don't leave anything for the next day or anything like that, it’s just that we have had a lot, a lot of losses because of the fact that we make everything fresh.”

A viral call to save the business

The influencer urged the Latino community to visit the establishment: “Please, gentlemen, lend a hand, stop by their business (…) so that we can.”

The video has gone viral and generated hundreds of messages of support, promises of visits, and recommendations from those who have already tried their products.

"I've been several times and the pizzas are delicious," commented an internet user, while others assured that they would share the post to help the young woman.

"Thank you all, we look forward to seeing you here."

The owner closed her message with gratitude: “Thank you all, and we look forward to seeing you here with lots of love and affection.”
