Los Pichy Boys reignited the debate among Cuban content creators by publicly questioning this Wednesday the newly arrived influencers in the United States about their silence regarding the forced exile of opposition leader José Daniel Ferrer.
In a message posted on their X account, the duo explained that they find it difficult to "get along" with some of these new faces of digital exile, because "not a single influencer, tiktoker, or podcaster" expressed any gratitude or acknowledgment following the arrival of the leader of the Patriotic Union of Cuba (UNPACU).
"Not a single one has published a message of gratitude. All of you still have half of your families under the dictatorship. You are the ones who should be fighting alongside Ferrer for freedom," wrote the comedians, who have lived in Miami for years and have openly criticized the Cuban regime.
The duo also criticized those who avoid speaking out on political issues out of fear of reprisals on the island.
“No, I don’t talk because I have people in Cuba... You idiot! You should talk more than everyone else!” they added in their post.
In August, Congressman Carlos Gimenez joined the Los Pichy Boys podcast to discuss various topics, including the new list he would submit to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) of individuals linked to the Castro regime residing in the U.S.
The duo's position was also evident when in 2024 they issued a strong message against actress Ana de Armas after her relationship with Manuel Anido Cuesta, son of Lis Cuesta, the current partner of the Cuban ruler and dictator Miguel Díaz-Canel, was made public.
