Los Pichi Boys are a comedic duo made up of Cubans Alejandro González and Maikel Rodríguez.
His first public appearance was on the radio show “El Vacilón de Miami” on the SBS radio network.
For three years (2016-2019), they had a radio show on Univision, "La Gozadera," in one of the most prominent morning segments, where they achieved a high audience rating, positioning themselves in first place above other established shows in the highly competitive Miami radio market.
Los Pichi, who are cousins on their mother's side, started making small videos around 2007 at home, which gradually gained more views, and they decided to turn it into a business through sponsorship promotion.
In this way, they turned their name into a brand, Los Pichy Boys, and founded the company Los Pichy Films. It is precisely those brief parodies that went viral that made them very popular. Based on a fragment from a movie or TV show, the comedians parody various themes of contemporary Cuba and its most stereotyped characters, such as the drunkard, the tough guy, the marginalized, and so on. They are also well-known for their sharp criticism of the main leaders of the Cuban government, as well as the television hosts and presenters on the island.
In their sketches, they collaborate with other comedians, allowing them to tackle various societal clichés such as romantic relationships or family issues.
On their YouTube channel, they have accumulated over 81 million views.
