Los Pichi Boys are a comedy duo comprised of Cubans Alejandro González and Maikel Rodríguez.
His first public appearance was on the radio show "El Vacilón de Miami" on the SBS radio network.
For three years (2016-2019), they hosted a Univision radio show, "La Gozadera," which became one of the morning's standout segments, achieving a high audience rating and securing the top preference over other established shows in the highly competitive Miami radio market.
Los Pichi, who are cousins on their mother's side, started making short videos at home in 2007, which gradually gained more views. They eventually decided to turn this into a business by promoting it through sponsorships.
In this way, they turned their name into a brand, Los Pichy Boys, and founded the company Los Pichy Films. It is precisely those brief parodies that went viral that made them very popular. Using snippets from movies or series, the comedians parody various aspects of current Cuban life and its most stereotypical characters, such as the drunkard, the tough guy, the marginalized, and so on. They are also well known for their sharp critiques of the main leaders of the Cuban government, as well as the announcers and hosts on the island's television.
In their sketches, they collaborate with other comedians, allowing them to address various societal clichés, such as romantic relationships and family issues.
On their YouTube channel, they have amassed over 81 million views.
