The images show the little girl confidently walking through a shopping mall, dressed in a skin-colored outfit, with bandages on her head and red slippers that resemble high heels, while her mother proudly records her. The costume, which mimics the appearance of someone "just out of surgery," aimed to be a humorous parody of the aesthetic trends that flood social media.
“And by attitude, it's not my love, my newly upgraded one,” the mother wrote alongside the video, which quickly filled with comments from users applauding the originality. “The best Halloween costume,” “I want to wear it in real life,” and “Winner of Halloween 2025” were some of the most repeated phrases.
Not everyone, however, took it with humor. A portion of the audience deemed the costume inappropriate for a young girl and criticized the mother for exposing her daughter. “That’s not suitable for a child,” wrote one user. Others defended the creativity and reminded that it is simply a celebration where anything goes.
Amidst the controversy, the event, which took place in Colombia, continues to rack up millions of views and thousands of comments, turning the little "recently operated" girl into one of the most talked-about and shared costumes of this Halloween.
