Cuban actor Alejandro Cuervo shared an emotional video on TikTok in which he celebrates having completed a noble mission: getting a mattress for a grandmother in the countryside who lost almost all her belongings after Hurricane Melissa passed through Cuba.
"I get up more than excited, more than happy. We are definitely not doing anything wrong. This is a unique experience that makes me truly happy. Thank you all," Cuervo expressed, visibly moved, as he showed the elderly woman enjoying her new bed, a result of the solidarity of many Cubans who responded to his call on social media.
In the video, the grandmother appears smiling and grateful as she receives the mattress that will allow her to rest after difficult days. The gesture from the popular actor has drawn applause and admiration from his followers, who highlighted his humanity, commitment, and love for the Cuban people.
