The sister of the popular Cuban reggaeton artist Chocolate MC, Isis Sierra, shared an emotional video on her social media where she openly discussed her brother's spiritual transformation. He is currently in prison and has chosen to embrace faith in God.

"My brother has lost his mind, that’s the first thing many say when they hear him talk about God, but not my people, he’s not crazy," Sierra expressed, referring to the criticism the artist has received after showing a change in his life.

The young woman asserted that, in Cuba, many people associate religion with Santería and Afro-Cuban practices, which is why discussing God from a Christian faith still generates prejudice.

"The Cuban is not used to seeing a real change. I myself lived within the Yoruba religion, I practiced it and got to know it, but surrendering to God is the most blessed thing a human being can do," she stated.

Sierra also compared her brother's experience to that of other artists who have chosen the same spiritual path. "Look at Daddy Yankee, Farruko, and many others. Do you think they went crazy? No, my love, the best thing that can happen to a human being is to have inner peace and surrender to God," she stated.

Regarding the current situation of Chocolate MC, his sister acknowledged that the artist is going through a difficult time, but she emphasized his strength and career.

"Although it may not be in its best economic moment today, it has something that many lack: a name, a path traveled, and a history. Those who criticize it do so because they have achieved nothing," he stated.

The video quickly generated reactions on social media, where numerous fans of the Cuban reggaeton artist expressed support and admiration for his apparent change in life and his embrace of faith.
