The US dollar (USD) on November 24 is quoted at 435 Cuban pesos (CUP), according to the data published by elTOQUE.

The value of the dollar continues to reflect the intense pressure on the domestic economy of Cubans and the high demand for cash in foreign currency for everyday transactions and purchases of essential goods.

For its part, the euro (EUR) reached a rate of 480 CUP today, establishing itself as the strongest currency against the Cuban peso. The high price of the euro reflects the interest of those traveling or conducting transactions with European countries.

Meanwhile, the Freely Convertible Currency (MLC) stands at 235 CUP, which is five pesos more than the previous day. This rate, lower than the dollar and the euro, continues to be significant in transactions within state-owned stores that sell in foreign currencies.
