A Cuban trucker's camera captures a nearly fatal encounter with another truck on a highway in the U.S.

A Cuban truck driver in the U.S. shares a video on TikTok where he nearly collides with another truck on a highway. The recording, which has gone viral among truckers, highlights the importance of onboard cameras.

The Cuban truck driver Ihosvanny Rodríguez shared a video on TikTok capturing the moment he nearly experienced an accident on the highway while driving his freight truck in the United States.

The footage captured by the camera installed in his vehicle shows how another truck that was traveling in front of him obstructed his path just as he was about to overtake, creating a dangerous moment in which both vehicles nearly collided.

"Feel the plate, my people, because the end-of-year order has already started. They almost pulled the same trick on me as on the Turnpike," Rodríguez wrote in the video, referencing a previous experience he apparently had on the heavily trafficked Turnpike, often used by truck drivers.

The clip, published 20 hours ago, has gone viral among the trucking community and Cubans in the United States, who recognize the risks they face daily on the road, especially during this high-traffic season for year-end deliveries.

In the recording, captured on November 25, 2025, the truck driver is seen traveling at over 65 miles per hour when the white trailer makes a dangerous maneuver that nearly causes a collision. Rodríguez, who was transporting vehicles in his car hauler truck, managed to maintain control despite the scare.

The post has gathered hundreds of reactions and supportive comments. Many users advise her to exercise caution on the roads and emphasize the importance of onboard cameras for recording incidents that can save lives or serve as evidence in potential road disputes.
