A young Cuban resident in Germany has moved thousands of TikTok users by sharing her story of overcoming challenges, after successfully moving out of a shelter and starting her own home-based manicure business.
"Just a month ago, I managed to move after having lived in a shelter, and today, between working in a store and cleaning on the weekends, I'm still pushing towards my true dream of becoming a professional manicurist," shared the user @cubana_enalemania in her viral video.
The young woman explained that she started with the bare minimum, but with great determination: "I began at home, with a small table and a lot of enthusiasm. It’s small, but it’s the beginning of something I know will be great. And you? What dream are you pursuing right now?"
Her message of hope and determination has sparked a wave of support on social media, where hundreds of Cubans in exile have resonated with her story and praised her for her perseverance.
