A young Cuban resident in the United States shared his joy on TikTok for having secured his own home, a fully equipped modern trailer home, and encouraged his compatriots to stop spending money on rent.
"Stop renting, don’t throw your money away on rent," said the young man while proudly showcasing his new home in a video posted on the account @cubanoamericano0. "I was a dealer today and saw this trailer. This is 2025, I really liked it," he explained before giving a tour of the interior.
In the video, which has generated thousands of reactions on TikTok, the Cuban showcases a modern RV, featuring a spacious kitchen, a central island, a large sofa, a bathroom with a tub and mirror, and a cozy bedroom.
"Look how beautiful it is, here I go to what is the bathroom with its lovely bathtub, its mirror, and its sink... this is the room. Tell me what you think," he commented during the tour.
Many users celebrated his achievement and congratulated him for leaving behind rent, one of the main concerns for Cuban migrants in the United States, where housing costs have risen significantly in recent years.
The young man, who did not reveal which city he lives in, concluded his video with a motivational message for those who still do not own a home: “Work hard, save, and don’t waste money on rent.”
