A Cuban living in the northern United States shared on TikTok the tough moment he experiences every morning before going to work: facing the intense cold and clearing the snow off his car at five in the morning.

"Look at this, look. They told me to come here because the rent is cheap, that there are lots of jobs... Look, at five in the morning, it's time to work," we hear the user @primosaloloco say as he tries to clear the snow from his vehicle's windshield.

In the video, which quickly went viral, the Cuban is seen in complete darkness, bundled up and holding a spatula, battling against a thick layer of snow.

In the background, the houses adorned with Christmas lights contrast with the visible exhaustion of the man who just wants to get to work on time.

"Nothing happens in Cuba!" she wrote jokingly, recalling that although life outside the island offers better salaries and opportunities, it also brings challenges like extreme weather and the freezing early mornings of winter.

The scene generated hundreds of comments from other migrants who identified with their situation. "That's what I go through every day," commented one user, while another joked, "That's why Cubans are tough; we can endure anything."

The video, recorded in a residential area of the northern U.S., humorously and realistically illustrates the contrast between the American Dream and the harsh conditions faced by many Cuban immigrants in their pursuit of a better life.
