A young Cuban identified as Suzanita Cubana shared an emotional video on TikTok showcasing the home she has inherited from her family in Cuba, a modest space that is full of meaning for her.

"I managed to get my new house in Cuba at just 18 years old," the young man begins to say in the clip, while showing the various areas of the property that belonged to his grandparents and then to his mother, who currently lives abroad.

The young man explains that the house had been closed and abandoned for almost a year, which is why he has had to dedicate time and effort to clean and repair it gradually. In the images, the bathroom, kitchen, and the room he plans to set up for himself can be seen.

"Currently in Cuba, having a home is extremely complicated, so for me, this is the best house I could have. I am grateful to my mom and my family for always caring and being with me, and for leaving me this lovely home," he commented.

The video, accompanied by several photos, has generated numerous reactions on social media, where users applaud the young woman's humility and determination to improve her home despite the challenging economic conditions the country is facing.

The housing situation in Cuba remains one of the biggest concerns for the population, with thousands of families living in dilapidated homes or at risk of collapse, while the regime prioritizes the construction of luxury hotels for tourism.
