The controversy between Sandro Castro and Samantha Espineira continues to ignite social media. After the Cuban influencer categorically denied the statements made by Fidel Castro's grandson—who claimed to have slept with her—Sandro spoke out again to reaffirm his version, insisting that “everything was true.”
In a story posted on his Instagram account, Sandro began his message with his usual provocative tone:
“Good morning, vampires and vampirettes from Apagonía. I see a bit of discomfort caused, and really, I always, especially in a heated moment or interview, am going to tell the truth because I am a sincere, genuine, and humble person,” he said while looking at the camera.
Sandro insisted that he does not seek fame or attention with his words, and that he simply recounted something that, according to him, happened years ago: “What happened with Samantha occurred years ago, before the pandemic. Everyone has a past; then we live in the present and the future. But I will always tell the truth. I'm not interested in getting likes or gaining popularity. I work on social media because I enjoy it,” he stated.
The grandson of the late Cuban dictator concluded his message with a phrase true to his style: “So the Vampirash will never deceive you,” he wrote, making it clear that he stands by his version despite the criticism and denials.
The story emerges just hours after Samantha Espineira referred to his statements as a "lie" and lamented "the desperation for likes" on social media. Her response, applauded by many followers, aimed to put the matter to rest, but Sandro's new reaction has reignited the debate.
Meanwhile, comments on social media are divided between those who label him as a "controversy seeker" and those who believe him.
