Fidel Castro's grandson, Sandro Castro, sparked controversy once again on Tuesday by publicly responding to statements made by influencer Samantha Espineira, who hours earlier claimed she never had a relationship with him and hinted at possible legal actions for defamation.

In a series of stories posted on his Instagram account, Sandro referred to Espineira in a derogatory manner, accusing him of "seeking fame" at the expense of his name.

"Oh, vampires and vampiresses. I had to come to the office because this was getting serious. I made it clear that I was responding in a heated moment. I don’t like talking about women or my private life, but if I show the chats, I don’t know what kind of cover it’s going to have," said the dictator's grandson.

The young man, known for his mocking and provocative tone on social media, claimed that it was she who, in his words, "was following him around" when she used to visit his bar in Havana.

"When did I ever want to party with you, when you were just a nuisance in my bar bothering me?" Sandro added in a video.

With a sarcastic tone, Castro also mocked the influencer's statements, who had appeared alongside her lawyers in a video where she denied any sentimental or professional ties to him: “You showed up there with two old ladies from that union over in Miami. It's the funniest thing, talking about defamation and all. If it's about defamation, they owe me ten Lamborghinis with all the nonsense they say from over there. You've become even more outdated.”

Fidel Castro's grandson said to her in a mocking tone: “My little one, don't feel bad, darling. First of all, you should pay me right now for the promotion I've given you. You were more low-key than the eastern provinces.”

"Alright, mom, alright. Don't feel bad. That was in the past. Stop making a fuss and admit the truth. We've closed that chapter because this wasn't a Turkish soap opera," she declared.

Sandro's response comes shortly after Samantha Espineira declared that she wants “no connection with the Cuban dictatorship” and that Castro's insinuations are “completely false.” In her video, the influencer suggested that she would consider legal actions against him.

The controversy has once again divided social media: while some followers support Samantha, others celebrate Sandro Castro's sarcastic tone, who calls himself “El Vampirash” and concluded his statement with a phrase directed at his audience: “Go ahead, keep crying in Miami while I enjoy in Havana. A blackout was formed.”
