A young Cuban thrilled thousands of users on social media by showing how she used her first payment from TikTok Shop to fulfill a dream for her mother in Cuba.
“Thank you, Lord, for being able to fulfill a dream for my mother today, exactly on the day I have been here for three years. TikTok Shop, thank you, thank you, thank you,” wrote the creator of the video posted on her account @jennymyshop.
In the images, you can see the emotional moment when the mother, visibly surprised and in tears, receives a new refrigerator, sent as a gift by her daughter from abroad.
"My first payment from TikTok Shop was to make a dream come true for my mother. All the work is from God, thank you, and don't give up, girls," the text in the video reads, which has already gathered thousands of views and congratulatory messages.
The woman cannot contain her emotion as she gazes at the newly arrived appliance, a symbol of sacrifice and family love amid the challenging economic situation that Cubans on the island are experiencing.
