Social media sparkled with joy and nostalgia this December 25th as Cuban artists and influencers celebrated Christmas from various parts of the world. Many shared images surrounded by family, next to decorated trees, or cooking those traditional dishes that connect them to their roots, even when they are far from the island.

Some shared Christmas dinners with their partners or gatherings among Cuban friends, while others posted genuine postcards that will remain as memories. There were also those who took advantage of the holidays to visit their family in Cuba, sharing messages that blend the joy of reuniting with loved ones and the sadness of witnessing a country that lacks so much joy.

On social media, there was plenty of room for melancholy. Numerous artists expressed how much they miss their loved ones who remain on the island, reminiscing about the Christmases shared and sending wishes of hope for a better future.

Of course, there were those who expressed their gratitude to life for a 2025 filled with success and blessings.
