A truck carrying passengers overturned in Majagua, Ciego de Ávila, resulting in three injuries: a girl and two adults.
The injured included "a 14-year-old girl, with multiple bruises but no fractures, and two adult women, one of whom had a bruise on her skull but no fracture, and the other patient who had pain and bruising in her hand, also without fracture," according to reports from official sources.
An adult woman was also assisted at the scene who "reported a headache and high but controlled blood pressure, and she was given medication immediately."
The rest of the passengers were placed on another transport to "continue their journey to the East."
The causes of the accident are under investigation, the note concludes.
Last Sunday, a tragic traffic accident occurred in the early morning on the National Highway, near Aguada de Pasajeros, Cienfuegos province, leaving at least two people dead and several injured.
The accident occurred at kilometer 188 of the highway when the driver of a passenger bus allegedly fell asleep at the wheel and collided with the rear of a trailer.
