A crane overturns in Havana while maneuvering with a container

A tow truck overturned this Wednesday in Havana, specifically on Monumental Avenue, reaching 100th Street, according to reports on social media.

According to the post on Facebook by the user Oscar Eduardo Maseda Sanchez on the page Accidents Buses & Trucks for more experience and fewer victims!, the accident occurred while the crane was maneuvering with a container. So far, there are no reports of injuries, and the damages are only material.

As is often the case, the authorities have yet to provide official details regarding the causes of the overturn, while the incident caused temporary congestion in the area.

Public transport bus crashes into a house in Havana

In the early hours of this Monday, an articulated bus from the Santa Amalia public transport terminal, identified with the number 513, in the Cuban capital.

The accident occurred around 3:30 AM on Santa Amalia Avenue, and despite the severity of the impact, fortunately, no human casualties were reported.

Nonetheless, the photos shared on social media show that the material damages were significant, especially to the property.
