New Year's Eve – December 31

Publix: Open from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Aldi: Open from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Trader Joe’s: Open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Fresh Market: Open from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Milam's Market: Open from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

CVS: Open (it is recommended to confirm hours by location).

Walgreens: Open, with varying hours depending on the store.

Navarro Discount Pharmacy: Open from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on January 1st.

Publix Pharmacies: Open with modified hours.

Public transport

Miami-Dade

Metrorail and Metromover: They operate until 2:00 a.m. on January 1st. After that time, you will only be able to exit the stations.

Metrobus and MetroConnect: Sunday schedule.

Parking at Metrorail stations: Open until 3:00 a.m.

Tri-Rail: Special departures from Miami Central at 1:00 and 2:00 a.m., stopping at all stations. It then operates on a weekend schedule.

Broward County Transit

Sunday schedule both days.

Waste collection and recycling

Miami-Dade, Miami, and Broward: Regular service both days.

Fort Lauderdale: Includes large waste collection.

Mail and postal delivery

December 31: Regular service

January 1: Only express priority mail delivery in select markets

Public offices and stock exchanges

December 31: Most will operate normally.

January 1: County offices, courts, and libraries in Miami-Dade and Broward will be closed.

NYSE and NASDAQ: Closed on January 1st.

January 1 is a federal holiday in the United States, so many offices and services will reduce or suspend their operations.

On the other hand, December 31, although it is New Year's Eve, is not an official holiday, and most establishments will be open, though with modified hours.
