The Camagüey theater is in mourning. Actress Anaisys Rodríguez, one of the founding figures of the Teatro del Viento group, passed away after a long and painful illness.

Her departure was confirmed by the head of the group, Freddys Núñez Estenoz, who bid her farewell on social media with an emotional message.

"Rest in peace, beautiful girl... it has been a hard process, for you... for me and for all of us who love you. The time for rest has definitely come... I've been begging for your peace for days; you didn't deserve to suffer any longer. Fly... fly, and I will catch up to you one day, I WILL ARRIVE ON THE WIND, IN OUR WIND!" she wrote on her Facebook profile.

Artists, colleagues, and theatre enthusiasts in Camagüey have expressed their sorrow and gratitude towards an actress who gave emotion, dedication, and talent on stage.
