The Cuban singer La Diosa starred in one of the most intense moments of El Rancho de Destino as she broke down in tears during a conversation with Oyacito, in which she revealed an unknown story until now: the scam she fell victim to in the United States after her concert at the Watsco Center in Miami, where she lost 80 thousand dollars.

It all started when Oyacito questioned her intentions to donate the contest prize to the children with cancer at St. Jude Hospital. The comment sparked a discussion that ended with La Diosa opening up about the issue. “I sought 80 thousand dollars in sponsors. I was so foolish that I let the sponsors pay the person directly. Besides the tickets, I didn't see a single dollar,” she shared tearfully.

The artist explained that the person with whom she signed the contract had been sued multiple times for similar issues. "It didn't make sense to spend more money on lawyers. That person is already overwhelmed with lawsuits, and I wasn't going to pay to get into that mess." She stated that only the musicians were paid, while she covered the dancers' salaries out of her own pocket.

"I've never talked about this on social media," she confessed, her voice trembling. "But since Oyacito asked me about the Watsco Center, I preferred to tell the truth. I left there without a dollar. The place has nothing to do with it, but rather the person I made the contract with."

Despite that bitter experience, La Diosa made it clear that she continues to believe in hard work and in helping others. “I have my money; I’m not a millionaire, but I can afford to give that money to the children with cancer at St. Jude if I win. I want to do it, it's my decision.”
