The Cuban singer La Diosa had one of the most intense moments on El Rancho de Destino when she broke down in tears during a conversation with Oyacito, in which she revealed a previously unknown story: the scam she fell victim to in the United States after her concert at the Watsco Center in Miami, where she lost 80 thousand dollars.

It all started when Oyacito questioned her intentions of donating the contest prize to the children with cancer at St. Jude Hospital. The comment sparked a discussion that ended with La Diosa opening up about the issue. “I sought $80,000 in sponsorships. I was so stupid that I let the sponsors pay the person directly. Besides the tickets, I didn't see a single dollar,” she recounted through tears.

The artist explained that the person with whom she signed the contract had been sued multiple times for similar issues. "It didn’t make sense to spend more money on lawyers. That person is already overwhelmed with lawsuits, and I wasn’t going to pay to join that line." She stated that only the musicians were paid, while she personally covered the salaries of the dancers.

"I've never talked about this on social media," she confessed, her voice breaking. "But since Oyacito asked me about the Watsco Center, I preferred to tell the truth. I left there without a dollar. The place has nothing to do with it, just the person I made the contract with."

Despite that bitter experience, La Diosa made it clear that she continues to focus on her work and helping others. “I have my money; I’m not a millionaire, but I can afford to give that money to the children with cancer at St. Jude if I win. I want to do it, it's my decision.”
