A Cuban puppy named Niko is taking TikTok by storm after starring in a hilarious video where he barks and growls furiously upon seeing Miguel Díaz-Canel on television.
Its owner, the content creator Yanepsy Ávila López, known on social media as @bebé_tubo_84, shared the moment with her followers, who quickly nicknamed the animal the “anticommunist dog”.
In the video, which has already garnered thousands of views, Niko is seen reacting with evident annoyance to the speech of the Cuban leader, not taking his eyes off the television and barking every time he hears his voice.
"He can't stand to see him," Yanepsy said with a laugh.
Users celebrated the animal's spontaneous reaction as a demonstration of popular discontent on the island.
"Even the dogs are tired of communism," commented one of the internet users. The clip continues to circulate among Cubans inside and outside the country.
