The Cuban content creator Claudia Artiles reacted to the criticism she received on TikTok for promoting products that she then sends to her family in Cuba. In a video that quickly went viral, Marlon's mom clarified her stance and made it clear that her support for her loved ones does not contradict her political beliefs.

“I am going to respond to this comment: it tells me ‘stop promoting things for Cuba, it’s Patria y Vida’. The first thing: I have been Patria y Vida for years, since I arrived in this country,” Artiles began to say. He also recalled that, shortly after arriving in the United States when his son was little, he had already denounced the blackouts and the difficulties faced by Cuban mothers. “When Marlon was little, there were tremendous blackouts and I went on my social media, when I had 200 thousand followers, to tell Díaz-Canel that he was a si****. Before meeting Ultrack, I was already speaking clearly,” he said.

The influencer explained that she will continue promoting products and sending aid to Cuba, despite negative comments. “I will keep promoting products and whatever doesn’t serve me here, I will send to Cuba. As long as I work, my family in Cuba will not struggle or suffer, and I include Ultrack's family and his son in that. I do this, not Ultrack,” she emphasized, referring to her partner.

Claudia also responded to those who criticized her brother for studying in Cuba: “At my brother's age, there are people in Cuba who are stealing or doing drugs. My brother wants to be a psychologist and study. If he wastes his time on the streets, that's bad; if he works, that's bad too. Well, he is going to spend his time studying until he comes to this country, because I am going to work hard to bring my family here.

The video generated hundreds of supportive comments from her followers, who highlighted her frankness and coherence. "That's how you speak, Claudita, family is family," wrote one user. Others praised her response: “Well said, everyone does what they want with their money.” Despite the controversies, Claudia ended her message by reaffirming her stance: “I am Homeland and Life, but my family won't go without while I have the means to help them.”
